that's great... i hope the business works out for you... i used to work for my neighbors, they own an ice cream shop. they were quite successful both in regular sales and wholesales. i heard Jeff (the owner) say that he had achieved all his ten-year business plans in the two he had been open. he and his wife aren't business people either, he was a teacher before that... they were just very creative and got lucky.

so, anyway, the point of my story is that small business CAN be lucrative and i wish you the best of luck!

we are starting small.. selling to catering companys.. restuarants, hotels, and of coarse the ubiquitous esspesso shop/stand... etc

Excellent - ain't nothing more satisfying than quitting, though sometimes getting fired is pretty cool too. My wife and I are thinking of a couple of business ideas. I don't plan on quitting my current job tho - I sit at an NYU help desk and aside from this 1st month of the year, the phones are quiet and they have no problem with me working on music on my laptop..

let me tell you about my friend don.
he is a business man through and through.

he just bought two yahts for $15,000 from a repo auction.... just sold one of them for $45,000.
also just bought a BRAND NEW ford focus for $7,700 dollars.. gonna sell it for 10,000 this week.

it seems to me, you if you want to be an entrepreneuer, you can't care about what you're buying selling.. just look for the best deal.
