maybe people downloaded the dragons and hated your music

The weather was too good to stay inside and download obscure electronic music.

i noticed that my stats take a nosedive if i'm not on the main page in some way. sad, but true.

or the blackout could have effected it.

yeah, i didn't even bother listening to it because i hate it so much. that dragons track totally sucked by the way.

I did sulk as em-pros started deleting my reviews from their releases.


I do not download from em411 anymore,
as my reviews/opinion/feelings are worthless for these musicians.

haha!! Matti asked me to delete some of his posts, but I refused. I couldn't dream of such a thing. But, you wouldn't like the music I put up on EM411 disastrato, so stay away.

JDG -- I wondered about this too, and I have found some things to be true (YMMV).

1. there are regulars that frequent the page. they only listen to a particular type of song, and ignore others. The stats are lopsided that way.

2. If there are a lot of posts the first day or two, it snowballs. this is bandwagon marketing. People like to be where other people are.

3. If you are posting a lot in the forums, especially if you're being an OT bugger, you get hits. You must be a dick, though. There's no such thing as bad publicity. If Fiddy50 ever put up a song, no matter the quality, he'd get more hits than mystad, akida, daz and dis combined. peace...

4. People are always busy in the late summer. It's a seasonal thing -- people are either getting new mates, dying or preparing for hibernation by working hard. No time for EM.

5. Fracking Mars is too close.

I think I should be able to delete my songs after I posted them.. I got what I needed. Feedback. Who cares if your review gets deleted. I asked for feedback from you. not feedback that everyone can see. hell, emmail would be fine for me.
