I love Live, but I'm a bit ticked off to spend more money on a 2.x->3.x update whereas I used the 2.x version maybe twice. Even if it's only $69... thats a lot to pay for one new feature. So essentially I'm paying $30 every time I run the program.

try running the program more and watch your values skyrocket!

Being able to control envelopes INSIDE samples is a pretty big feature in my book...

But its all subjective i guess..

i don't like how if you move the envolope WAY outa range of the clip window.. it stays in that way outta range area for your envolope..

the upgrade is cheep (in comparison to most upgrades)

i too am an ableton whore and i too am far too broke to purchase the upgrade right now, but that's what being a poor college kid is all about! it's cool though i am still in awe of Live2. a shout out goes to the wonderfully generous dood who ushered me to the world of Live2!!!

i grab the upgrade when cash flows a little more readily.

it's amazing much sample-fucking-up is afforded to use because of this wonderful little piece of miracle-ware.

being able to add unlocked-parameter to a loop is amazing. yes, Live3 is very cool... I am doing a review for my site... should be ready soon ;-)

The upgrade (for me, since I unlocked after aug 1) was free.

And yes, it is quite amazing.
