haha! no way, man. aside from a little dust in the faders, and a couple of burned out bulbs in the meter bridge, it was workin' fine!

it was the the powersupply.. leaky capacitors... didn't give her enuf juice!

friggin still a bit busted up looks wise (missing knobs for the faders, and 2 VUs don't work still) but its got good power and it sounds friggin CLEAN.

here a pic of installed.. sound really good.. still trouble shooting some line noise tho.. might be because i'm not earthed.

This Allen & Heath mixer is one of the best desks I´ve ever worked with!!! I had it for years, and I loved it!! It has one of the best sounding EQ ever made! I sold it to get an Mackie 32 desk. After a few month I had to get it back because of the incredible sound you can produce with it. The Mackie is gone as fast as it came ;-). The craftmenship of this mixer is incredible too (I own the 2416) it is built like a tank!!! :-) over 50 KG without the powersupply. By the way, my desk has the original power supply which isn´t 19". It is a very small thing and very handy.
Don´t do the same mistake I did:
NEVER SELL THIS BABY! NEVER EVER !!!!

it does sound sweet... i love it.. i use it alot.. everything now goes through the desk for a mix out of my computer..

but i have the huge 4U powersupply (looks like it'll power four more things anyway)
