jdg my friend, tried planet ccrma? it's stanford's ccrma dept's repository for audio software (including real-time linux kernel). just install on top of your current redhate (i hate redhate too, try debian my friend).  

using linux at home is one thing.. but when you have 300 linux servers and 20 big iron sun boxes.. and the boss says "redhate" .. what else u gonna do

i don't need linux.. i have osx. unix.. and all the best software.. what a combo!
