thank you caddis, bsm, and myself for the samples.
used lots of delays and filters. and kontakt.
it is a glitchpop punk feast.
finished it rather quickly, i was surprised.
jesus christie. i like this sound. i like the filter and the delay. i think there are both in this. ends too quickly actually. moody. it suggests other things and places. something i like in my favorite music.
i too thank caddis, bsm, and jdg. reviewing drunk was fun but now i have to do something else. playing with my head.

Ha! Another drunk reviewer.
jdg does some magic stuff with the technology. I've been sleeping to the effacer CD the last week.
It must say something to beat out Brian Eno.
Dude. So if you finished so quick like, how did you trigger/sequence the beats?

sweet jesus mary and joseph your mixing skills are freakin' amazing. how the hell do you make such clean, punchy stuff? and don't tell me it's all 'cuz of that UAD-1 card. nuh-uh. i'm 'a hit you with the sauce--then you'll talk.
i would of course like this to be twice as long. i always say that, so i will say it again.
the piano bits are a little too "sampley" for my taste. the rest of the song is so smoov, and these come off as jarring. nice melody, just tone those samples down.

It was definitely too short..I really like the production/samples and overall feel to the track..this was close to being my favorite track so far.

it is cuz of the uad-1 card.
i messed and messed with the bell sample to make it sound less sampled.. but i couldn't muster the duster.
caddis:
beets trigged via kontakt with tying the bell with some of the drums together and using the 8 loop point per sample thingy.
i don't know why i made this so fast.. it was like 1 evening.. i don't have much time these days to make music.. so 1 evening was a blessing so i think i just brain dumped it all out...
i wish i had time to develope it a bit too.
thx for the comments ppl

This is great, the pic and this song together, are almost sadenning, this is beautiful. THe piano is harsh, but the melody is beautiful, this is great. Wanna start a band :D Finally some tonal knowledge rockin out!! this is well arranged, it's almost like John Williams arrangements, very nice modal movement, merry xmas.

these fine folks all spoke to MOST of what rocks about this mixit.... except they forgot to mention that it EFFIN RAWKS in a crap-in-your-tighty-whities-and-rub-it-on-your-grandmother's-face-then-refuse-to-appologize-because-you-are-just-that-much-of-a-baddass kind of way. i personally like the bell samples... that's where the punk rock comes in.

So I immediately checked the price on the UAD card after hearing this. Unfortunately, the ad says "jdg not included" so I don't know why I would bother.
I'd love to hear the effacer stuff after getting a taste of this.

Another fine track. I didnt even think this was you when I listened to all the mixits, dont know why, because in retrospect, it is very you. Which is good.
One of my favorites this time around, of course the sound quality contributes very much to that. there were a lot of harsh sounds it seemed this time around, but you make it all smooth like butter. I'm not a huge fan of the snare though for some reason. Not sure why, but i love the little reversed bits that accompany it.
Your prodcution skills desverve repeated acclaim, so that why I'm just reitterating things.
The bass drum roll and the end is fantastic too, it could have a more prominent role in the piece for sure, but you are tasteful and sparing with your flourishes.
