let me quickly hump your leg. there.

claps can stay, maybe make your space a little smaller, some parts are drenched in verb a bit too much imo. love the soli and detours this one dares to take.

I love the synhs in the very beginning behind the percussive ones, the ones that are clutching and spreading in the distance. The crowd sounds awesome too. I love all the strange talking sounds. That is perfect, not sure if it was in the version you played me before, but that adds a kind of random, nonelectronic touch that takes it someplace strangely harsh. I still think it seems a little long, but you can really sink into all the subtle work you put into the arrangement and electronic manipulations. The zoom that then zooms again and tape delay fades is AWESOME! I really think it's a very unique and complex piece. The synth solo!!!!! Hahaha! It's like somebody really obese doing an already partially nude strip tease while barely able to hold in gas. Followed by all that swank and strangeness, it's such an odd picture.

Excellent work!

Did you have to say that?

John: I'm downloading now, but your song hates my modem.

reminds me quite a bit of mocean worker. very sinister. there is soo much space in the music. it is like walking through a forest and hearing the reflections off of the trees. what type of reverb did you use? and also. wow, I wish I had your mixing skillz.

This is SO burly. I love this song. Brooding, yet nutty so not to appear pretensious. Top-notch mixing (which is expected), with the lazy ass porta solo in the middle. I REALLY want AAS-UA now. I'll have to do more Web work for you!

I think that when that mono lead comes in ... after awhile if some chords came in, that'd be pretty keen. but it's not needed.

very well done!!

this release pretty much reflects the nature of this website - total fucking clique. only the people who have been here forever get their tracks listened to and commented on. everyone else gets ignored like the freshmen in high school. 5 releases in an hour but only the old school dudes are commenting on other old school dudes' tracks. lame.

and to think, I thought my track was getting no comments because it's saturday night and people got shit to do. but oh no....

maybe someday I can be in the preppy and popular clique. 'till then, I guess I'll have to just admire from a distance.

I dig the track though

you're right. Sorry, jmelnyk. I go through phases where I will comment on everyones, and then I get distracted and only listen to the ones that grab me because I have liked that person's work before. But it isn't because I think they are popular that I listen.

But you are right. Checking on the others now.

i like the claps but they are a CH too loud in the mix. also, i think you should open up the cut off a bit on the farty bass/synth line and maybe roll off some of the low end as it's a pretty beefy sound (those are the most specific comments i've made about any track ever)

i like the track though.. it's one of those.. "i got drunk underwater and then smoked opium while planning my jewelry heist" kind of vibes... at least that's what came to mind. it's got sex appeal.

jmelnyk: my plan is to listen to all the new releases as soon as i get home. The clique thing: you can't get away from it.. it's the same anywhere.
